Falling ball impact tester is suitable for all kinds of plastic sheet impact test.
Standard:
ASTM D639-81(1985): STANDARD methods of testing for impact resistance of plats and pats made from engineering plastic rigid plastics by a ball(falling ball)
Working principle:
On the lift beams, equipped with a control device for controlling the falling ball, release the ball, the impact of the sample, so that to achieve the purpose of testing.
Impact energy can be calculated according to the weight and height of the ball. After the ball impact of the sample, produce rebound, the deivice control the ball, to achieve the purpose of preventing secondary shocks.
