Double-wire wound heating is employed. This method not only enables more uniform heating but also exhibits anti-aging properties. The double-wire wound design helps in evenly distributing heat, reducing the risk of hot spots and ensuring the longevity of the heating system.
SKZ1059B Carbon Black Content Testing Instrument This tester is designed to determine the carbon black content in polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyisobutylene plastics. Standards: It complies with ISO 6964 for the determination of carbon black content in polyethylene pipes and fittings via calcination and pyrolysis, ASTM D1603 for testing carbon black content in olefin plastics, and IEC 60811-4-1 for common test methods of insulating and sheathing materials of electric and optical cables, specifically for polyethylene and polypropylene compounds. Features: 1. In the testing procedure, samples are handled and transferred with a convenient guide rail. The guide rail allows for direct extraction of samples without the need to open the sealing valve and without using additional sampling tools, which helps reduce errors and improve measurement precision. 2. The sample combustion boat is supported by a guide rail and positioned at the central part of the heating furnace core, ensuring uniform heat distribution around the sample and thus higher test accuracy. This overcomes the drawback of uneven heating when the combustion boat is directly placed on the test tube. 3. The injector for the sample combustion boat is marked and scaled, ensuring consistent placement of samples in repeated tests. In contrast, regular carbon black content testers often require manual marking and adjustment, resulting in low efficiency and poor repeatability. 4. To avoid the drawbacks of an open-door furnace, double-wire wound heating is adopted, providing more uniform heating and anti-aging properties. 5. During testing, the sample can be cooled internally. An independent fan cooling system is equipped to accelerate cooling and enhance cooling efficiency. Even when the sample temperature reaches 1000 °C, the external enclosure temperature remains constantly below 50 °C. 6. The atmosphere control can be switched not only automatically but also manually through the touch screen, making the operation more intelligent and convenient. 7. A 7-inch high-definition capacitive touch screen is available, which can display the temperature curve in real-time. Up to 50 segment temperatures can be set, and the carbon black content can be calculated with one key. 8. The exhaust end can be fitted with an automatic cleaning bottle. The cleaning bottle can be replaced by the user, and the gas reaction can be observed through the instrument window. 9. It allows the use of a suitable combustion crucible for testing multiple samples.

APPLICATION SCENARIOS
It applies to polyethylene, polypropylene and polyisobutylene
plastics in the determination of the content of carbon.

Open the instrument. enter the parameter setting interface, set the temperature parameters. and click Save.
Record the weight of the sample, place the burning boat on the sample rack and push it with the sample
hook into the middle of the quartz pipe.
Set temperature, gas. time, etc. Click on the run key on the screen and start heating up.
When finish, enter the recorded quality. calculate the carbon black content and ash content.
After the experiment, the external fan can be connected for rapid cooling.
